The wildlife and the landscapes are truly breathtaking and the Chitwan region gets steamy & hot from March-June, with peak temperatures reaching 39°C in the shade. Short grass in the area during Feb-May makes the best game-viewing season you will ever experience, but the autumn months are heavenly bliss, with stunning Himalayan views, and in winter (December-January), Chitwan is so pleasantly warmed compared to Kathmandu…you’d just love to be there.

There are numerous places with unique geographies to have a Jungle holiday in Nepal, as there are lush green flatlands in the Terai belt of Nepal’s teeming eastern region covered with dense green forest that stretches across the southern part of Nepal providing an entirely different wilderness from that of Nepal’s great Himalayas. Your visit to Nepal remains incomplete without seeing the beauty of this region. Chitwan is the best place to encounter the wild of a different kind which is similar to the conservation parks we go through at some of the highest altitudes on earth.

Moreover, in Nepal, there are many historical cities, Monuments, temples, Gompas, shrines and monasteries that make Nepal a kaleidoscope for holidays in the sunshine. We at Escape Nepal holidays have designed 07day itinerary including the jungle holiday in Chitwan plus visit of those historical monuments in Kathmandu Valley that includes visit of Kathmandu Durbar squire, Monkey Temple, Pasupatinath temple, Bouddnath Stupa, Patan Durbar squire and the Bhaktapur Durbar squire as well,  this holiday is best for couples, honey moons and family with kids and the Chitwan Jungle holidays can be experienced all over the year.

The Wonderful Environment of the Himalayas is also an extremely fragile one. Increasing population density and numbers of travelers threaten the very beauty of Nepal. At Escape Nepal, we are extremely conscious about the environment and aim to minimize our impact as much as possible. As deforestation is one of the greatest environmental threats we face in this region, we do not encourage camp fires and encourage use of kerosene for cooking as an alternative fuel to wood. We also discourage trekkers from using wood-fuelled hot showers in lodges along the way. Many lodges, however, now have solar hot showers, a far more eco-friendly alternative.

Garbage disposal is another major problem and some of the busier trails can, at times, appear strewn with litter for miles. Our staff members are well motivated towards eco-friendly practices. We carry out all our garbage, apart from that which can be safely and easily burnt at the campsite. Our aim is to help protect and preserve this beautiful environment for future generations of trekkers to enjoy and we advise the same to you to keep the garbage on proper site and take return those with you to homes which are Non- biodegradable.

We at Escape Nepal would like to requests the following things and to be a responsible tourist:

  • Leave only footprints and take only photographs.
  • Use designated routes, campsites and resting places to reduce trampling and other negative environmental impacts.
  • Respect local culture and traditions, use home stays, locally owned hotels/ lodges or campsites as much as possible to support the local livelihood.
  • Avoid/ minimize using firewood. Use common space for heating. Opt for alternatives to minimize deforestation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Use the litter box locally available. Carry back your own garbage while traveling through ecologically sensitive areas.
  • Encourage to place mobile toilets at a considerable distance from sources of water, river banks and springs while camping along the river sides.
  • Use the services of local guides and porters as much as possible to explore more about local environment and culture.
  • Money spent here will contribute directly to the local livelihood, women’s empowerment and environmental conservation.
  • Before you begin your journey we request you to abide by the above guidelines in order to safeguard the nature and culture of the area and be a responsible tourist.
