The Kathmandu valley is the capital of Nepal and a meeting point of Hinduism and Buddhism, more over Kathmandu is the cultural and commercial hub of Nepal and the valley contains three fabled cities - Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. Each city has temples, palaces, squires, courtyards, monasteries, and Stupa. Kathmandu has many sites recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage sites. We take you to some of the World Heritage Sites in this short tour on Kathmandu on our Kathmandu transit tour pacakge.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and Sightseeing Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath: Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu airport (TIA), you will be received by our representative with an Escape Nepal display board or your name written in a paper at the arrival gate then transferred to the hotel and check in to the hotel and We will start our guided tour to Kathmandu Durbar, an UNESCO World Heritage Sites - and the famous Buddhist monastery and Stupa named Swayambhunath also known as 'Monkey Temple' among the foreigners and overnight at hotel, (A).

Day 02: Visit Pashupatinath, Bhaktapur & Patan: After breakfast at hotel, we start a guided tour to another three UNESCO world heritage sites in the Kathmandu valley which includes Pashupati Nath Temple, Bhaktapur Durbar Squire and Patan Durbar Squire and overnight at hotel, (A, B).

Note: you can take one hour scenic Everest Experience mountain flight in the morning before the tours starts, you are on vacation & this only happens once probably in a lifetime…enjoy it today because tomorrow never comes and please inform us for the arrangement.

Day 03: Visit Bouddhanath & then transfer to airport: After breakfast, we stat our guided tour to Boudhanath. The Buddhists shrine of Bouddhanath is one of the largest stupas in the world, and one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage and tourist destinations in Kathmandu. After visiting Bouddhanath, we transfer to airport for your departure, (B).

Trip price - The price given is per person on twin share basis for the Small group travel for fixed departure and we offer Group discounts for the booking of two or more than two person and group of 10 or more people will have maximum discounts with one person (tour leader) travel free in Nepal (land only) and if you even have maximum number of people even more than 10 people then contact us for the further discussion about the discounts and those want to travel in group and want to have private room ( where possible) on our holiday then that cost you extra single supplement cost, we have given the single supplement cost on our package however if you could not find it then please write us for the further information:

 Essential Info

The electricity is available in most of our holidays and in the cities like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Palpa, Lumbini, Chitwan, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel and in some of the villages on our trekking holiday, hiking holiday, climbing holiday and home stay trekking where you can re-charge your mobile phone and camera batteries, not all in all places of our trekking so, we advise you to have spare batteries when you do the trekking, hiking, home stay and climbing holidays  and there is not electricity available on our camping adventure trekking holiday so, you need to have enough spare batteries when you do those trips.


The Wonderful Environment of the Himalayas is also an extremely fragile one. Increasing population density and numbers of travelers threaten the very beauty of Nepal. At Escape Nepal, we are extremely conscious about the environment and aim to minimize our impact as much as possible. As deforestation is one of the greatest environmental threats we face in this region, we do not encourage camp fires and encourage use of kerosene for cooking as an alternative fuel to wood. We also discourage trekkers from using wood-fuelled hot showers in lodges along the way. Many lodges, however, now have solar hot showers, a far more eco-friendly alternative.

Garbage disposal is another major problem and some of the busier trails can, at times, appear strewn with litter for miles. Our staff members are well motivated towards eco-friendly practices. We carry out all our garbage, apart from that which can be safely and easily burnt at the campsite. Our aim is to help protect and preserve this beautiful environment for future generations of trekkers to enjoy and we advise the same to you to keep the garbage on proper site and take return those with you to homes which are Non- biodegradable.

We at Escape Nepal would like to requests the following things and to be a responsible tourist:

  • Leave only footprints and take only photographs.
  • Use designated routes, campsites and resting places to reduce trampling and other negative environmental impacts.
  • Respect local culture and traditions, use home stays, locally owned hotels/ lodges or campsites as much as possible to support the local livelihood.
  • Avoid/ minimize using firewood. Use common space for heating. Opt for alternatives to minimize deforestation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Use the litter box locally available. Carry back your own garbage while traveling through ecologically sensitive areas.
  • Encourage to place mobile toilets at a considerable distance from sources of water, river banks and springs while camping along the river sides.
  • Use the services of local guides and porters as much as possible to explore more about local environment and culture.
  • Money spent here will contribute directly to the local livelihood, women’s empowerment and environmental conservation.
