Trip Overview

Best of Nepal adventure is an exclusive tour package and prepared for those who have about two weeks' holiday to explore Nepal. Best of Nepal adventure explores the culture, nature, Himalayas, valleys, and Jungles in Nepal.

Nepal is the best destination for all types of travelers and offers cultural, historical, religious monuments, Mountains, hills, Jungles, and natural heritages. We made a 12 days itinerary that has covered almost every tourism activities in Nepal. The 12 days best of Nepal adventure package is a life-changing adventure.

You explore Kathmandu that includes a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Squire, Swyambhunath, Pasupatinath Temple, and Bouddhanath Stupa. Further, you travel to Pokhara and go to Ghorepani- Poon Hill Trek. The trek is one of the famous treks in Nepal and offers great views of the beautiful Himalayas. You take a short drive to Nayapul and start trekking to Ghorepani. You have an overnight stay in Tikhedunga on the way to Ghorepani. Once you reach Ghorepani and hike to Poon hill, you will be hiking further to Tadapani, Ghandruk, and Pokhara.

You then go for a Jungle safari in Chitwan National park, and the Chitwan national park is one of the best parks in Nepal, established in 1973 AD, where you have a look at various species of birds, plants, and animals including, wildlife, floras, and faunas. Chitwan is situated only 150m above the sea level, during the March-June, the steamy covers around. Whereas the short grass of Feb-May the best game-viewing season, but the autumn months are gorgeous with Himalayan views.

You are met and greeted by our airport representative/driver on your arrival at Kathmandu airport. He transfers you to the hotel and helps you to check in to the hotel.

The evening is free, and after you’ve refreshed, you can go for a stroll down the street to get familiar with your surroundings.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you go on a guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. You are escorted by a professional tour guide to visit Kathmandu. The tour includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, and Baudhanath Stupa and all these sites are UNESCO world heritage cultural sites.

Our guide will drop you at the hotel once the tour is complete. You then have a free evening to look around and buy some trekking gear if you need it.

After early breakfast at the hotel, the trek guide will come to pick you up, and he takes you to the bus station to drive to Pokhara by tourist bus. The drive goes along the scenic Trisuli and Marsyangdi River valley to reach Pokhara.

After 6 - 7 hours (depends on traffic) of drive, you arrive in Pokhara, the city of lakes. Check in to the hotel and evening is free to explore yourself, or our guide will take to walk around the lakeside and Phewa lake.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you drive to Nayapul that takes about one and half hours, you then start the trek for today, and this is a pretty easy flat path hike as you pass through several small lively villages and settlements. You ascend gently to the final destination of the day to reach Tikhedunda.

After having a hot breakfast at the lodge, you start the trek by ascending steeply up for the first 2 hours. The trail then ascends gently by passing through Ulleri and Banthanti villages.

The trail offers breathtaking views of Machhapuchhare (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), and the grand Annapurna (7219m) south on the way.

The trail now gets easy going as you pass through rhododendron and shadowy forests amidst the cackling of birds, which gives good feelings till you ascend gently up to the final camp to the Ghorepani.

Today, you hike to Poonhill (3210m.) very early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise views over the Himalayas. The Views of mountains includes Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snow-capped mountains. Poonhill has always been a symbol of beauty for the Annapurna region.

You then return down to Ghorepani to have a hot breakfast. You then start trek to Tadapani (2650m.). Most of the trails today go through blooming rhododendron forest, and the beautiful flower makes the jungle colorful in spring when they bloom.

Check in to the lodge in Tadapani, and the evening is free.

After breakfast at the lodge, the trek starts for today, and It is an easy trek today by descending gently through rhododendron, oak, and other kinds of dense forests.

The Ghandruk is a big Gurung village, there is a handicraft center and Gurung museum and You can see the views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.) and Fishtail from Ghandruk.

After breakfast at Lodge, you start trek to Nayapul, and today is the last day of the trekking. And, it is easy trekking by descending gently half of the way through the rice field and local villages and flat trail to Nayapul.

You stop at Birethati to have lunch. Trek about half an hour to Nayapul, where our vehicle will be standing by to drive back to Pokhara.

After an early breakfast at the hotel, you drive to Chitwan, which takes about 6-7 hours (depends on traffic) hours and check into our jungle lodge. After you get refreshed, you have lunch, and a brief of the tour/activities will be given, and you go on a Tharu village tour in the evening.

After breakfast at the lodge, you go on a full day of jungle activities in Chitwan National park. The tour includes Jungle walking, Canoe ride, Jeep safari, and you also enjoy a scintillating Tharu cultural stick dance that’s exciting to watch in the evening.

After breakfast, you go for an interesting bird watching tour in the morning. You then drive to Kathmandu that takes about 6-7 hours (depends on traffic) and check into the hotel. The evening is free to make last minute shopping.

We offer farewell dinner in the evening as this is your last night stay in Nepal after a great adventure in Nepal. Enjoy the dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Let us know if you arrive earlier or stay in Nepal later than the scheduled date of Best of Nepal Adventure, then we can book the extra nights as per your need.

Transportation Used on Best of Nepal Adventure

We provide a private vehicle for airport transfers & tours in Kathmandu and tourist bus transport for Kathmandu- Pokhara – Chitwan- Kathmandu. However, you have options to drive by private car/jeep from Kathmandu -Pokhara –Chitwan- Kathmandu or a short flight from Kathmandu – Pokhara and from Chitwan to Kathmandu.

Please, do let us know if you want to upgrade the modes of transport to private vehicles or flights.

Electricity and battery charge facility on Best of Nepal Adventure

There is electricity available in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, and in most of the villages of trek part of this adventure where can charges your camera/mobile batteries, and it may cost you some fee to recharge them.

However, we strongly suggest you have spare batteries in case of not availability.

Guide and Crew on Best of Nepal Adventure

We provide a professional tourist guide for a day tour in Kathmandu on day two and a trained trekking guide for the whole trek who handles the logistics and guide you and your team on the trekking.

We also provide you a Sherpa (assistant guide) when there are eight or more members in the group. We provide porters to carry your luggage trek part. There is one porter for every two members, and a porter carries about 20 - 22KG, which means 10- 11 KG from each trekker. And, we provide you trained nature guide for the Jungle safari part in Chitwan National park.
