Trip Overview

Nepal Tibet tour is the best-combined tour of two Himalayan countries Nepal and Tibet (autonomous region of China). The tour is for 14 days, and you explore Nepal that includes Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan national park and Tibet Lhasa and its cultural heritage.

The Nepal Tibet tour starts with visiting historical monuments in Kathmandu that includes Swoyambhunath stupa and Patan durbar squire. Both of these monuments are listed in UNESCO world heritage and have a lot of stories and history behind them.

You travel to Pokhara and the Pokhara is a magical land as it houses some of the ornate historical landmarks that the world has ever seen. The soothing waters of Fewa Lake and the sky-piercing peaks of Annapurna Himalaya ranges are to die for, but shrouded in mystery is the religious temples. You visit Bindhyabasini temple, Sarangkot viewpoint, hiking to Naudada, World peace pagoda, Devi’s falls, and Gunteshwar cave. You also do a boat at Phewa Lake and visit the Barahi temple. After Pokhara, you travel to Chitwan National park for a wildlife tour. The jungle activities in the park include jungle walking, jungle safari, and canoe ride. And, return to Kathmandu and take a full-day tour of Bhaktapur durbar squire before flying to Lhasa.

You fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu and spend three nights and two full days in Lhasa, where you visit many cultural monuments that include Potala Palace, Sera monastery, Drepung monastery, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor market. Tibet is a cultural city where you can also experience the culture, lifestyle, and traditions of local people. After a tour in Lhasa, return to Kathmandu to take a return flight home.

Our escort and driver meet and greet you at the Kathmandu airport on our arrival and escort you to hotel. Check into hotel, get brief about your daily program and evening is free to stroll down yourself.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you go for a day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. The Kathmandu tour includes a visit to world heritage sites that includes Patan Durbar squire and Swoyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple).

The Patan Durbar Square is located at the center of the city of Lalitpur, and it is one of the three ancient Durbar Squares in Kathmandu. Patan Durbar square is the most staggering example of Nepalese engineering in an urban context. The initial history of Patan Durbar square remains undocumented. Later in the afternoon, you go to visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, which is located on a lovely little hill rock. Swayambhunath Stupa was built around 250 B.C.

After the tour, our guide will drop you back at the hotel.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you start to drive Pokhara along the scenic Trisuli and Marsyangdi River valleys to reach Pokhara. The drive is pretty good as you go by the beautiful river valley, and you can also view Ganesh Himal and the Manaslu peak.

You reach Pokhara after 5-7 hours (depends on traffic), and check in to the hotel. Pokhara is a tourist's paradise full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, & temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with her lovely mountains.

Your evening is free to explore yourself around the Lakeside area.

The tour starts early in the morning by driving to the Sarangkot viewpoint. Sarangkot is a beautiful hill famous for its sunrise over the Himalayas. You enjoy a close-up look at the Annapurna, Fishtail, and many others Himalayas. You then have breakfast at the hotel in Sarangkot and start the hike to Naudada. The hiking is about 3-4 hours, and you can enjoy the views of the Himalayas and valleys on the hiking.

On reaching Naudada, you have lunch and drive to Pokhara. You also visit the Bindhyabasini temple on the way back to the hotel, and the evening is free to explore yourself.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you start your tour for today by taking a boat ride across the Phewa Lake. You also visit the Bahari temple located on the small island in the Lake. You then hike to the World Peace Stupa, which takes about an hour.

You have fantastic views of the Lake, Himalayas, and the Pokhara valley from the peace stupa. The Peace Pagoda was constructed after the end of World War 2 by Buddhist monks to inspire peace to all the people around the globe. Nichidatsu Fujii, the founder of the Nipponzan-Myohoji organization that took on the task of building over 80 of such peace pagodas in the world.

You then drive to Devi’s falls and visit the falls and Gupteshwar cave and return to the hotel. The evening is free to explore yourself.

After an early breakfast at the hotel, you drive to Chitwan National park. It takes about 6-7 hours (depends on traffic) to reach Chitwan through many settlements and valleys. You check into the lodge and have lunch. You embark on a wildlife Tharu village tour in the evening.

Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast, and go on a full day of jungle activities that include Canoe ride, Jungle walking, and Jeep Safari across streams & into the jungles.

You also enjoy a scintillating Tharu cultural stick dance that’s exciting to watch in the evening.

After having breakfast at the hotel, and you go for a day tour of Bhaktapur durbar squire.

The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the four fundamental attractions inside the old city known as "Bhaktapur". During the Malla regime, Durbar Square procured the majority of its wonderful structures and conspicuousness as an extraordinary city in The Kathmandu Valley when it gathered the epithet "city of devotees".

There are many temples and shrines in Bhaktapur that you visit on tour and drive back to the hotel and check-in.

After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer you to Kathmandu airport to fly to Lhasa-Tibet. You can see great views of the Himalayas during the flight.

On reaching Lhasa airport, our guide meets and greet you and transfer you to the hotel in Lhasa. Check in to hotel and evening is free.

After breakfast at the hotel, you start the tour in Lhasa for today. You go to visit Potala Palace in the morning, and the Potala Palace is the seat of both religion and politics of Tibet. It was built in the 7th century by Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo, and later it was renovated by the 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th century.

You visit Sera monastery in the afternoon, which is located 5 kilometers north of Lhasa city, which was built in 1419 by Jamchen Choeji, a disciple of Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelugpa sect of Buddhism.

After breakfast at the hotel, you start the tour in Lhasa. You visit the Drepung monastery in the morning. Drepung monastery is the largest Monastery of the Gelugpa sect of Buddhism in Lhasa, which was built in 1416 by Jamyang chojie, a disciple of Tsongkhapa.

You go to visit Jokhang Temple and Barkhor market in the afternoon. Jokhang Temple holiest shrine in Tibet and houses of golden statue of the Shakyamuni Buddha, which was brought to Tibet by the Chinese princess Wenchen.

You then return to the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, you are transferred to the airport to fly to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu airport, our driver receives you and transfer you to the hotel.

Your evening is free, and you can go on shopping as this is your last day in Nepal for your Nepal Tibet tour. We also offer you farewell dinner this night, and this is your last night stay in Nepal.
