Dhampus Sarangkot is a short 3 days trek in the Annapurna region near Pokhara, and the trekking is one of the most popular and classic trek routes in Nepal that goes through a country inhabited by a wide diversity of people. Dhampus Sarangkot trek offers spectacular mountain scenery and takes you to the north of Annapurna & Mt. Machhapuchare (Fishtail) ranges.

The Dhampus Sarangkot trek itinerary includes your arrival and departure days to and from Nepal and a day tour in Kathmandu. The real trek starts from Pokhara by a short drive to Dhampus Phedi. You then trek to Dhampus on the first day. The Dhampus- Sarangkot Trek go further to Sarangkot for another overnight. After having Great sunset and sunrise view from Sarangkot's viewpoint, you trek down to Pokhara.

Sarankot is an ideal viewpoint to see both sunrise & sunset within the majestic Himalayan range. Sarankot village is perched on the North-west of Pokhara with enchanting views of Pokhara valley and the Phewa Lake.

You go on a full-day guided tour in Kathmandu. Kathmandu is the historical hub of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors.

Kathmandu presents an interesting holy mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, and western influence. The tour includes a visit of the Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath stupa, Swoyambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar squire, and all these sites you visit are UNESCO recognized World Heritage sites.

Our guide will drop you back at Hotel later once the tour is complete.

After early breakfast at the hotel, our guide will come to pick you up at your hotel at 6:30 am to take the bus station to drive to Pokhara. The drive goes along the scenic Trisuli and Marsyangdi River to reach Pokhara.

It is a pretty good driving as you go by the beautiful river valley, and you can view Ganesh Himal and the Manaslu peak.

You reach Pokhara about 6-7 hours (depends on traffic) drive and check in to the hotel, and your evening is free to explore yourself.

Pokhara is a tourist's paradise full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, & temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with her lovely mountains.

After having breakfast at the hotel in Pokhara, you drive for an hour to trek starting point Dhampus Phedi. You trek from Phedi that takes about only about 3 hours to reach Dhampus.

Check in to the lodge, and you have time to walk and visit around the village. The Dhampus village is a mix of Gurung, Brahmin, and Chhetri villages. You can see a great view of the Himalayas.

You see a beautiful view of mountains with sunrise rise view with field terrace in the morning. You start the trek to Sarangkot through Naudada, which takes about 5 -6 hours to reach Sarangkot.

You wake up early in the morning to see the Himalayan view with sunrise. The Himalayas views include the view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna Range, Himchuli, Fishtail, Lamjung Himal Range, and a good view of Pokhara valley.

You then have breakfast and trek down to Pokhara, Check in to the hotel, and have lunch. You then go for a tour in Pokhara that includes a visit to Devi's falls, Gupteshwar Cave, Boat at Phewa lake, and visit Bahari temple in the Phewa Lake.

We provide hotel accommodation for five nights (3 nights in Kathmandu and two nights in Pokhara), and two nights in a lodge (in Dhampus and Sarangkot). We provide a total of 13 meals (7 breakfast, 3 lunches, and 3 dinners), and the meals are provided at hotels and lodges. You can expect to get dishes like India, Nepali, and Continental.

Yes, we arrange Airport pick up on your arrival at Kathmandu airport once you book the Dhampus Sarangkot trek. However, the free airport transfer is available only if you arrive and depart on our scheduled dates.

Important Note on Arrival: There can be many people around you to support you to carry your luggage or to put your luggage in the vehicle when you exit from Airport, and they ask for money as a tip at the end (These people do not belong to us).

So, be careful of them, and we advise not to let them carry your bag/luggage. We suggest you take your bag/luggage yourself until you put in the vehicle as there are many trolleys that you can use free of cost.

Yes, We have not included a porter on the cost of the Dhampus Sarangkot trek and the luggage has to be carried by yourself, as this is a short 3day trek and you do not need to bring much stuff, and you also can leave some Stuff in the hotel in Pokhara if you have any.

Yes, you can add a mountain flight tour on the morning of day two before the Kathmandu tour starts and Trisuli River Rafting for 3 hours on day three while driving to Pokhara, and these activities do not need any extra days.

Furthermore, if you have any extra days, then you can do the Chitwan Jungle safari from Pokhara or add Tibet Lhasa Tour in Tibet or Bhutan Tour in Bhutan.
